No way to stabilize temperatures at reasonable levels. Everything tried so far made matters worse. Running out of options.

This is horrible, but better slow than sorry : reduce load on cluster by placing on hold two very long jobs (which will get restarted once two other shorter jobs are finished).

Try again : take them up, restart jobs, watch temperatures.
